Anti-allergy products like, antihistamines, fatty acids and steroids may give relief to your dog, but it would be short-lived. The key to the treatment for a lasting relief is avoidance of the source of the allergy. But be warned: symptoms may come back and the allergy can be developed with new food when it is given to the dog long enough.
